How to install latest android OS on laptop or desktop using USB flash drive

Yes you are right that android is for mobiles and tablets, but just because it’s meant for mobile doesn’t mean that it can’t be installed on the desktop.There are many users who want to extend the capability of having a similar experience of Android on their PC or laptop. REQUIRED THINGS

  • USB of 4GB(optional)
  • Laptop or Desktop with 2GB of on board RAM (4GB is recommended)
  • High Speed Internet
  • Android ISO image

Follow the following simple steps to install Android OS on your laptop or desktop.

Step 1: Firstly download IOS file of android OS you want to install from Android-X86 open source project.(Recommended Remix OS)

Step 2: Download Rufus(Windows) app for making bootable USB drive.

Step 3: After downloading both file and app,launch the Rufus app to make bootable USB drive.Follow following steps.

  • Launch Rufus app
  • Select the device which you want to make bootable
  • Select the Android ISO file
  • Leave the default format options as it is
  • Then press READY option
wait for some moments and that's it your bootable USB drive is ready.

Step 4: Now in order to install android os form bootable drive you need to enter into your laptop or desktop bootmenu or BIOS setting.You can google it for your computer. Interface may look like the given below image(Note interface may vary from computer to computer but process is same).Then select USB flash drive.

Step 5: After that you will redirected to interface as shown in image.That is you will get option to try the OS without installing it.If it works fine on your laptop or pc you can fully install it.

Step 6: To install android OS on your system click on advance option and then you will be asked to choose drive where you want to install OS then click YES button.

Step 7: After clicking OK button you will get warning that it will erase all your data on your drive(Backup of drive is recommended or choose empty drive).Depending on your computer or laptop speed it will take certain time to install OS.

After installing is finished you will be asked to launch the OS or reboot the system.I will suggest you to reboot the system and that's it. Congrast you have successfully installed the android os on your lapy and Pc.Just one thig is left that is to enjoy android on your lapy or pc.
